From her earliest years in Puerto Rico, she developed a strong affinity for having an impact on the world around her. Whether it was through transforming her childhood bedroom with a fresh coat of paint or tending to the family garden, she always found joy in taking the lead in designing her environment.
Fueling this passion, she studied Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in Puerto Rico. This educational journey provided her with a deeper understanding of human behavior and cognition, further inspiring her to explore the profound influence design can have on our emotions and well-being. Motivated in that way, she went to Florida where she obtained a Master's Degree in Psychology.
In that way, throughout her academic endeavors, she discovered the profound connection between psychology and design. The concept of shaping our surroundings to positively influence mental and emotional states resonated deeply with her. This realization propelled her towards a path where she could merge her passion for design and psychology in a meaningful way.
As she said: "I believe that a well-designed space should reflect the richness of a person’s background, the timeless beauty of historical influences, and the rhythms of daily life. By blending these elements, design becomes not just about aesthetics, but about crafting an environment that feels meaningful, grounding, and alive with personality".
