The interior design studio Nouhouse, founded by Àngels Casellas (CEO of Nouhouse Spain), creative and project director, and Xènia Wild, signs this thorough renovation of the pool, bar, and terrace area of the Hotel Cap Roig, part of Brava Hoteles, located in Platja d’Aro, in the heart of the Costa Brava. The project was conceived to integrate into the Mediterranean environment and offer visitors a unique experience. From the very beginning, the property’s goal was to create an iconic space that would stand out in the area and become a meeting point for both guests and external visitors. And, without a doubt, they have achieved it.
The renovation is based on the use of high-quality materials strongly connected to Mediterranean tradition. For the construction of the bar, a terracotta lattice from Ferrés Cerámica was used, adding texture, freshness, and plays of light and shadow, while the interior of the counter is clad with our Chicago Ginger tile and a terracotta-toned microcement, creating a contemporary and elegant monochromatic atmosphere.
In this carefully designed environment, our square-format Chicago tile adds a Mediterranean and handcrafted touch to the bar. Its pieces, in a warm earthy tone, cover the main walls, gently reflecting natural light and decorative illumination, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the space.
The result is a project that combines tradition and modernity, responding to both aesthetic and functional needs: a place designed to facilitate work and, at the same time, to offer guests a memorable corner where they can relax, share, and enjoy the Mediterranean essence.
