Stepping into this kitchen is like travelling back in time, yet at the same time feeling at home in a modern and very cosy space. The renovation had a clear objective: to create a space where tradition and modernity could coexist in perfect harmony, making this small kitchen a pleasant space that blends in with its surroundings. The choice of Balmoral tiles from our Mintons series was the starting point for bringing this unique atmosphere to life.
This small kitchen design, created by Dolcenea Home Design, stands out for the geometric mosaic formed by Balmoral, which unfolds like a work of art on the walls, evoking the hydraulic floors of yesteryear but reinterpreted in a contemporary key. Its warm, deep tones create a vibrant backdrop that transforms every corner of the kitchen into a place full of personality.
More than just a functional space, this kitchen becomes the heart of the home. The terracotta-coloured cabinets, the veined marble of the worktop and the golden details interact with the strength of the tile's colour, achieving a balance between the artisanal and the sophisticated. Making a cup of coffee or sharing a simple meal becomes an aesthetic experience, where every detail counts.
The brass wall lamp, shelves filled with everyday objects and plants add warmth and life. All of this reinforces the idea of a lived-in, practical and inspiring kitchen. Balmoral not only dresses the walls, it also adds character and turns routine into something special. This project shows that a small kitchen does not have to be neutral or impersonal, but that every day can begin surrounded by colour, geometry and a timeless touch that never goes out of style.
