A bathroom that grows with childhood

The Aura Rosé project, designed by architects Carolina Da Silva and Jadson César Dos Anjos, was created with the intention of designing a bathroom that reflects the personality and delicacy of a young girl, turning the space into a natural extension of her bedroom. The design embraces a sweet and serene atmosphere, where pink tones act as a unifying thread and enhance the feeling of warmth and well-being.

One of the key elements of the project is the use of our Tabarca Rosa wall tile, a piece full of character, with subtle tonal variations and a glossy finish that adds dynamism and visual lightness. Its herringbone layout enhances the play of light and shadow, creating depth and movement on the walls of the shower area.

The choice of this wall tile was love at first sight, made solely on the basis of the catalogue and a single physical piece. Once the material arrived, a meticulous layout process was carried out on the floor, exploring all the faces of the tile to ensure a balanced composition and an impeccable installation. This preliminary work was essential in achieving a delicate, coherent and visually striking result.

The furniture reinforces the emotional character of the space. The lacquered countertop in the same tone, together with the curved details present both in the vanity unit and in the integrated shower shelving, establishes a subtle dialogue between shapes and colours. These curves soften the overall design and create a welcoming feeling, ideal for a children’s bathroom.

Functionality is never overlooked. The mirror incorporates a built-in cabinet with front lighting, a practical solution that optimises storage while maintaining a light and tidy aesthetic. Taps and profiles in a gold finish add an elegant and sophisticated touch, balancing the chromatic softness with a contemporary feel.

Overall, this children’s bathroom shows how ceramics, combined with sensitive and thoughtful design, can create spaces that evoke emotion, grow alongside childhood and transform everyday routines into an experience filled with beauty and care.
