Designed by Grupo Domu, this bathroom project demonstrates how the combination of carefully selected materials can transform a compact space into an environment full of personality and wellbeing. The concept focuses on balancing Mediterranean freshness, the warmth of natural finishes, and the decorative value of ceramics, creating a functional and welcoming space where every detail contributes to a harmonious visual experience.

In this residential project, ceramics take centre stage through the Sorolla floor tile from our Valencia collection. Inspired by traditional Mediterranean hydraulic floors, this design brings a unique identity to the bathroom through its delicate geometric and floral motifs in soft shades of sand, blue, and aqua green.

The floor becomes the defining element of the space, adding visual richness without overwhelming the environment. Its decorative design introduces a sense of movement and craftsmanship that perfectly complements the other selected materials, evoking the essence of Mediterranean homes reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.

The shower area, clad in glossy turquoise ceramic tiles, creates an attractive chromatic contrast that adds depth and freshness to the overall design. The colour variations and reflections on the surface enhance the brightness of the space, while the backlit niche integrated into the wall adds functionality and a sophisticated visual effect.

The presence of wall-mounted furniture with a natural wood finish introduces a warm and organic touch that balances the vibrant tones of the ceramic surfaces. This combination of textures and natural materials is complemented by decorative details in plant fibres and handcrafted-inspired elements, reinforcing the bathroom’s relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
