This interior design project, carried out by Kontravellers, is based on a clear premise: to create a functional, elegant and timeless kitchen where each material interacts with natural light and contributes to a serene atmosphere. The result is a balanced space that combines contemporary lines, soft finishes and a carefully curated selection of wall coverings capable of adding character without overpowering the design.

The L-shaped layout optimizes the space and encourages smooth circulation. The work area is positioned next to the window, allowing natural light to bathe the countertop and sink throughout the day. This approach not only responds to practical criteria, but also enhances the feeling of spaciousness and visual comfort. The cabinetry, with clean lines and a matte finish in neutral tones, reinforces the minimalist aesthetic and allows the materials to take center stage.

The marble-effect countertop, with its soft and delicate veining, introduces an organic nuance that balances the sobriety of the furniture. Its light surface enhances the overall brightness and provides the perfect base to highlight the project’s most distinctive feature: the backsplash clad with our Kit-Kat Ivory tile.
