The renovation of this tourist apartment in Valencia, carried out by Saramar Home, embraces a contemporary reinterpretation of Mediterranean character, where interior design combines functionality, warmth, and a carefully curated selection of materials with a strong personality. The project transforms the space into a welcoming and versatile environment, designed to offer a comfortable and visually attractive experience within an urban setting.
The open layout and visual continuity enhance the sense of spaciousness throughout the apartment, while the palette of neutral tones and natural textures brings serenity and balance. Lightweight decorative elements, natural fibers, and matte black details introduce a contemporary language that harmoniously coexists with references to traditional Valencian style.
This is the case with our Balmoral flooring from the Mintons collection, which becomes the project’s defining feature. Its geometric design and rich color palette add rhythm, identity, and dynamism to the spaces, flowing throughout the home as a visual thread. Inspired by traditional hydraulic mosaics, Balmoral introduces an artisanal and timeless character that reinforces the apartment’s Mediterranean essence.
In the bathroom, the shower wall is clad with the Kit-Kat Grass tile, which adds texture and depth through an elegant linear relief in green tones. The ceramic interacts with the lighting and dark finishes to create a sophisticated and immersive atmosphere, where the shower gains a strong architectural presence within a compact space.
The combination of graphic materials, textured surfaces, and furniture with simple lines results in a balanced interior full of personality. A project that recovers traditional decorative essence through a contemporary, fresh, and functional perspective.
