A reinterpretation of classic American diners

Birdie's Diner is an incredible project by AGN Design that recaptures the essence of the classic diners of the mid-20th century, but with a modern interpretation that reflects today's needs and tastes. In this space, visitors can enjoy a cosy atmosphere that evokes the nostalgia of traditional diners without losing the sophistication of contemporary design.

This restaurant design fuses timeless design with high quality materials, offering a balance between retro aesthetics and modern functionality. With a soft colour palette, cosy textures and handcrafted details, the diner becomes a meeting point for those looking for a warm, authentic and charming place.

One of the central elements of Birdie's Diner is its impressive bar, which runs the length of the space and serves as a focal point for visitors. Inspired by designs from the 1940s, the bar is clad in our Canterbury tile, which features light tones and a classic design, and natural wood accents, giving it a cosy and sophisticated feel. Stools with chrome steel bases and upholstered seats evoke the nostalgia of the golden age of American diners, while strategically placed lighting creates a warm, enveloping ambience.

The floor is another of Birdie's Diner's most distinctive features, with our Mintons series porcelain tile taking centre stage, forming mosaic patterns that give a vintage feel but with a refined, contemporary design. The handcrafted tiles combine neutral tones and dark accents to create a subtle but effective visual dynamism that you can't take your eye off.

The design of Birdie's Diner takes inspiration from the iconic American diners of the mid-20th century, but also incorporates elements of art deco aesthetics and Scandinavian modernism. The combination of curved lines, natural materials and chrome metal detailing creates an ambience that is both sophisticated and welcoming.
