Les Costeres
This detached single-family home stands as an architectural manifesto where geometry and materiality dialogue in perfect harmony. With a composition of precise and well-defined volumes, the project celebrates the purity of forms and the richness of materials, establishing a balance between structural strength and the subtlety of light.

Les Costeres is a single-family home in Calpe that transcends the idea of a residence to become an architectural manifesto. Designed by Pasqual Giner Arquitectura, with interior design by María José Auñon Cabrera and promoted by Coinver Costablanca S.L., this work explores the relationship between precise geometry and material richness as languages that engage in dialogue with the landscape.
The volumes unfold with order and fluidity, generating natural transitions between interior and exterior. Natural light is introduced as yet another material, flowing across each surface, highlighting textures, and multiplying the spatial experience. The house does not impose itself on its surroundings but rather blends into them, opening towards gardens and terraces in seamless continuity.
In this setting, water becomes the protagonist through an overflowing pool on all four sides. The design of this pool, or sheet of water, not only expands the perception of space but also acts as a mirror of sky and nature. Its exceptional character is elevated by the use of Tahiti Turquoise cladding, which brings a vibrant, deep, and enveloping blue. This finish creates a constantly changing chromatic play, intensifying the emotional connection with the Mediterranean Sea and reinforcing the unique identity of the home.
Les Costeres is, ultimately, an exercise in harmony, precision, and timelessness. An architecture that speaks through its materials and finds in water and ceramics an eternal bond with light and landscape.
