Tradition and aesthetics with a designation of origin

Guijuelo is famous around our country because of its delicious ham. It has one of the most old designations of origin in this sector. It could not be otherwise. This picturesque town from Castilla y Leon harbours the Jamones Guijuelo company, a referent in the ham industry. 

With a critical stamp on its shoulders, the design of its offices cannot be left behind. Thus, Estudio A. Salinero and designer Amparo Pascual have opted for a total Black&White style to transmit the excellence and passion for quality that characterises the company. What stands out most in this project are the two staircases. In both, a unique style has been achieved by combining Dune tiles with the character of Guijuelo.

The Gothic style essence

The first staircase stands out for having a unique personality that combines with the gothic art that features this area. The image of the angel is the protagonist of this room, with a high ceiling and the use of white to provide luminosity. The three fundamental pillars of the Gothic style are achieved. To this space, the A. Salinero Studio has added a personal touch with the use of Gego tiles. It is used to create carpets in two key points of the room. Its composition makes it an ideal piece for creating minimalist and avant-garde spaces.

Marble as a warmth piece

At first sight, we always associate marble with a synonym of luxury and eccentricity. Nevertheless, using the Calacatta Superwhite 60x60 piece in these stairs creates an original warmth and relaxed environment. This tile belongs to the Calacatta collection. Thanks to its super white tone and its greyish veinings, they create a captivating space.

Without a doubt, both spaces merge tradition and aesthetics. With its attractive design, the Guijuelo essence and the high quality of the jam are reflexed. Congrats on the result!
