Generally speaking, bathrooms are usually the most neutral and timeless areas of the house. However, this project by the interior designer Maria Sofronova really breaks the mold. This designer had some space to play with, so she used it to meet the expectations of the children in the house.
In this sense, this private bathroom project clearly illustrates how creativity and imagination can be used to design very appealing spaces. This room, intended for the youngsters of the house, features bold combinations of colors and materials, with amazing results. The project is based on one of the rules followed by Maria Sofronova: do not be afraid to experiment with bright colors and expressive decorative elements.
This bathroom designed by the Russian artist has Santoni tiles, a design from the Doria range (Soft&Safe), as its main feature. This porcelain piece with a matt finish is used to highlight the essential areas of the bathroom like the washbasin, bath and toilet. It is worth mentioning that this collection updates traditional hydraulic designs by adding a retro finish, while also conveying the light and freshness of the Greek Islands.
To round off the project, the designer Maria Sofronova has combined it with coral-colored frames and trims, which add vibrancy to the room. Moreover, the combination of the white bathroom fixtures with matt black faucets creates a mix and match effect that rounds off the room and fully elevates it. A stunning bathroom!
