The Milano series is a tribute to this spirit, capturing its essence through tiles inspired by the colors of the marbles and frescoes of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the geometric structures of its domes. Each tile reflects the sophistication and dynamism of Milanese architecture, becoming a small piece of art in itself.
With a carefully selected palette, Milano combines intense shades, inspired by the city's frescoes and marbles, with delicate pastel colors that soften and enrich spaces. The collection consists of five wall coverings in a 6.9x24 cm format, featuring a slightly watercolor-like appearance and a pleasant texture, thanks to the matte "eggshell" glaze applied over a delicately irregular surface. The grooved porcelain reliefs, in an 11.5x23.1 cm format, are designed to match the wall coverings and serve as the perfect complement to subtly yet strikingly highlight areas. Additionally, the Milano series includes porcelain tiles in a 20x20 cm format, crafted with our Soft&Safe glaze, known for its pleasant texture and C2-rated anti-slip properties. All of these have been designed to coordinate seamlessly with the wall coverings and reliefs: three solid bases and six decorated designs that pay homage to monochrome terrazzo—still a major trend—featuring small, glossy inlays reminiscent of quartz.
