Restaurants
This restaurant, located inside the airport of Mérida, Yucatán, is reminiscent of the aesthetics and colour of the classic Mexican haciendas.

MERA Corporation and architect Juan Jiménez and his team signed this restaurant design that seeks, with the contrast of colours and textures, to create an aesthetic very similar to the classic Mexican haciendas.
Undoubtedly, what is most striking is the prominence of colour throughout the interior design of this restaurant. The large walls of the restaurant are painted in shades of maroon and yellow, which combine perfectly with the green tile at the entrance, our beautiful Agadir Selva, and our Agadir Amaranto, a piece of a more earthy tone but with a strong character.
The finishing touch to complete an attractive aesthetic is the Evora piece, from our Saudade collection, which gives it that touch of homely charm that cannot be missing in a hacienda. This series perfectly embodies the mix between traditional and modern thanks to the timeless designs of these tiles imitating hydraulic tiles.
The mixture of all the pieces, together with the colours of the walls, manage to create an eclectic but at the same time welcoming space, with a very marked character and personality. An oasis of good food and good taste in the middle of a space as busy as an airport.
We love the result!
