The remodelling of this bathroom, signed by interior designer Caroline Preti, presents a clearly modern design, with a minimalist aesthetic and a carefully selected colour palette that seeks to create a space of serenity and freshness. The combination of neutral tones and dark blue accent elements results in a balanced atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing space.
As the designer herself explained, her idea was to ‘create a chic aquatic universe. The Agadir Lago tiles around the bathtub create the sensation of being immersed in the ocean when lying in the bathtub. This sensation extends to the washbasin wall, creating a breaking wave towards the bathtub.
The design that Preti has used to apply our tiles provides an impressive visual contrast, dividing the space into functional zones and at the same time adding aesthetic interest. In addition, its vertical orientation adds visual height to the space. This vertical design directs the eye upwards, making the bathroom appear taller than it really is.
The blue colour of the tiles is deep and rich, creating an attractive contrast to the light beige of the other walls. The colour combination of dark blue and light beige creates a chromatic balance, where cool and warm tones complement each other harmoniously. In addition, its untoned finish contrasts with the matt texture of the other tiles, providing a sophisticated feel, which adds a touch of elegance.
Overall, the bathroom conveys a sense of calm and elegance, with a touch of modernity that makes it stand out. The cool, neutral colour palette contributes to a relaxing ambience, ideal for a space where you are looking to unwind and take care of yourself. The beige tones provide a serene base, while the deep blue tiles add character and sophistication, creating a balance between neutrality and personality. Congratulations, we love it!
