Poland is a country that stands out for its nuances and its freezing temperatures. Its natural landscapes are perfect pictures. Thus, the humid continental climate causes cold winters and mild summers, with few hot days a year. For this reason, the owner of this home was inspired by the nuances of the most contemporary rustic style to design a kitchen open to the living-dining room in which wood and the colour white were the main protagonists.
In this way, the white kitchen furniture fitted perfectly with the wooden floor and the decorative elements inspired by the natural environment. Likewise, the rest of the living-dining room maintained the rustic essence of the rest of the decoration, thus achieving a design that invites rest and disconnection.
It is worth mentioning that the front wall of the kitchen is entirely covered with the Atelier White tile, a small format tile that is a basic in decoration and allows the room to never go out of fashion. These small-format tiles in white imitate handmade pieces, thanks to their irregular edge and slight relief. As a result, when used in the decoration of a room, they add a cosy touch.
With the choice of this tile, the house acquires a marked rustic style with a clear nod to Nordic decoration, in which the colour white and wood are the key points.
