Altea: trendy colours to create spaces with soul

From the images of this beautiful town, known as the dome of the Mediterranean because of the intense blue of its tiles, and from the sensations of marine calm, we created Altea, a new series of small format tiles designed to create spaces with soul.

The new Altea series stands out for its pastel colours, which convey the concept of absolute comfort. In addition, its ultra gloss finish makes it possible to design rooms where sophistication and trends go hand in hand.

Altea, with a 7.5x30 cm format, emulates the result of the artisan work of potters, who mould the ceramic with their hands and give it a unique appearance. This collection is a clear example of Mediterranean craftsmanship in which traditional ceramics are a sign of identity and purity. Inspiration is the key to creating our collections. At Dune, we work on the basis of predictive talent and, for this reason, we like to design tiles that fit perfectly with current trends.

Altea tiles are special because of their colour palettes, which are immersed in the purest chromatic trend. The pastel shades allow the creation of effects thanks to their crystalline glazes.

 In the same way, this series presents a certain degree of de-toning, thus allowing for nuances of colour and irregularities of tone between the pieces.

As a result, Altea is a perfect collection for designing cosy homes and giving a touch of quality to small spaces. With this series we manage to combine calm and joy in the same space. The soft colours, perfectly aligned with the Mediterranean essence and style, offer the possibility of combining the Altea tiles with the hydraulic tiles from the Valencia, Doria, Gaudí or Saudade series.
