A swimming pool in connection with nature

This great project, carried out by architect Mariana Mercader and Mika Desarrollos, is a swimming pool in the outdoor garden of a private home on the beach in Bacalar, Mexico. The connection of this project with nature is total. On the one hand, the pool is surrounded by trees, plants and very close to the sea. On the other hand, the tiles that cover it are from the Magnet collection, which seeks to represent the strength and power of natural elements.

What stands out most about this project is the desire to enjoy the pool while you watch it. Nature, wellbeing and harmony merge to create a pool that is in harmony with the beautiful landscape that surrounds it. The tiles also create a similarity to the deep waters of the sea, which reinforces the link between the project and the space it occupies.

Magnet is a series, as we have said, created from the energy and connection of the four elements of nature. Its chromatic variation and organic character make it a great ally for swimming pools (in fact, here is a project with another piece from the collection, Magnet Mint). Its graphic richness manages to focus all the attention, and this pool is a clear example!
