Coverings 2022: design and innovation in the ceramics sector

    After a period of inactivity as a result of the global pandemic, we have resumed our usual activity and our presence at international trade fairs in the sector. On this occasion, we have participated in Coverings, the fair that brings together the entire ceramics industry in the USA and North America. A great event to show the international community of specifiers Dune products, in which trends and craftsmanship are blended to give rise to products with which to design unique projects.

    For 4 days we received visitors at our stand to learn first-hand about the process of design, production and marketing of the tiles. At Coverings, professionals who attend have the opportunity to explore the latest creations, establish contacts and grow their business, always with the aim of surprising customers.

    It is worth mentioning that this event is the most important trade fair for ceramic tiles and natural stone in the USA, thanks to exhibitors from more than 30 countries. On this occasion, Las Vegas (Nevada) has been the chosen venue for the fair. Coverings is an appointment marked in the calendar of thousands of distributors, retailers, manufacturers, contractors, architecture and design professionals, builders, real estate developers, as well as journalists, reporters and bloggers who cover the vital tile and stone industry. It is undoubtedly one of the best showcases for presenting the most innovative ceramics.

    Originality and colour to capture the attention of professionals

    For this reason, we have designed a stand in which none of the brand's new products have been missing. The interesting thing is the wide range of ceramic pieces we have and the endless possibilities they offer architects and interior designers to design spaces in which they can express the personality of the client.

    In this sense, both Begonya Segura, Marketing Director and Product Manager of Dune, and Anabell Torres, General Manager of Dune USA, highlight the visitors' interest in the product. In this sense, in addition to the scheduled visits, we have received visits from people who have been attracted by the product and by the originality of the exhibition space.

    In the same way, the combination of small pieces (Agadir series) and marbles (Baikal and Theia series) have aroused special interest in the professionals of the sector, thanks to the decoration possibilities they offer. On the other hand, the colouring of Doria or the finish of the Icon mosaic have also been key and differentiating elements.
    All in all, at Dune, we are already working with our sights set on the next edition of Covering, and the countdown to Orlando is on!
