Happy Soda, located in Taiwan, captures the essence of warmth and modern sophistication. This restaurant is characterized by its functional and elegant layout, where every detail has been carefully selected to create a cozy and attractive atmosphere.
In this sense, our Lancelot hydraulic floor tiles from the Mintons series are one of the most representative elements of this project. Their tiles, featuring a design that alternates geometric patterns in reddish and cream tones, are precisely arranged, creating a visual tapestry that subtly yet effectively defines the dining areas. This pattern not only provides visual appeal but also shapes the character of the space, evoking craftsmanship and tradition in a contemporary context.
By contrasting the hydraulic tile areas with the surrounding smooth floors, a clear differentiation is established between the passageways and seating areas, adding a practical touch without sacrificing elegance. Furthermore, the soft curves in the overall design of the spaces, such as the partitions and arches, perfectly complement the geometric lines of the floor.
The visual harmony is enhanced by the choice of materials, such as wood and wicker, reinforcing the concept of a welcoming space where every detail seems designed to invite the customer to relax and enjoy their experience. The furniture also helps highlight the tile "carpet" effect of the hydraulic floors, as it is simple and neutral-toned, avoiding competition with the visual richness of the tiles. The partitions between tables, with curved shapes and smooth finishes, provide intimacy and elegance, while the panels with glass and wood inlays add dynamism to the whole.
The restaurant perfectly balances modern and classic styles, thanks to the integration of the hydraulic floors. These not only act as a homage to traditional design but also add a fresh and modern touch by being surrounded by contemporary elements. This creates an intriguing contrast between the intricate floor patterns and the clean, smooth lines of the rest of the space.
Ultimately, it’s a space that invites you to stay. It’s not just a place to enjoy a good meal but elevates the user experience through its design, where every corner seems meant to be photographed, from the geometric patterns on the floor to the curved details in the partitions and furniture. We love it!
