Saudade is the most characteristic word of Portugal, a term that reflects the deep connection of the Portuguese people to their land and traditions. Tiles are another deeply rooted and iconic tradition of Portuguese architecture. At Dune, we named one of our collections Saudade, featuring hydraulic-effect tiles so characteristic of Portuguese culture.
The white Saudade tiles can be easily combined, as their veining and designs blend perfectly in color combinations on both walls and floors. These combinations are commonly used to elegantly and effortlessly separate spaces or to highlight areas such as dining zones, workspaces, or to enclose outdoor spaces like swimming pools or terraces.
