The industrial cantina project, designed by Carla Career, has transformed an industrial-style space into a modern and welcoming place, where functionality merges with aesthetics. To bring this vision to life, the architect designed a custom mosaic using a total of 5,000 tile pieces, creating a unique composition tailored to the project's needs.
The design is inspired by the integration of nature within the space. Large windows allow the exterior greenery to "enter" the cantina, enhancing the connection with the natural surroundings while also promoting the well-being of those enjoying their meals. The colorful background walls form a mosaic designed exclusively for this project, adding visual dynamism and creating a relaxing atmosphere. The blend of colors results in a design that encourages both energy and serenity.
The hollow cobogó walls incorporated into the design serve an essential function by offering privacy to waiting guests without compromising light and spatial fluidity. The overall layout is designed to provide comfort for various types of users. A large, functionally designed central buffet divides the space efficiently, allowing for smooth circulation and fostering social interaction among visitors.
The choice of materials, combined with the warmth of ceramic tiles, contributes to creating a contemporary and inviting atmosphere. Strategically placed pendant lamps add a sense of movement to the symmetry of the tables, reinforcing the overall visual and functional balance.
The final result is a cantina that, through carefully planned design, offers a pleasant and emotionally comforting atmosphere, where users can enjoy their meals in a stylish and comfortable setting. At Dune Cerámica, we are proud to have been part of this project, providing the tiles that have helped shape this unique space.
