In this residential project by Alessia Manghisi Architetto, the design is built around a carefully considered dialogue between materials. Wood, ceramic tiles, white surfaces and marble-effect flooring come together in a bright, contemporary interior where each finish plays a distinct role.
Within this composition, our Mariana PVD tile introduces the most expressive counterpoint. Its metallic finish and gold-toned, wave-relief surface break up the uniformity of the large, smooth surfaces, bringing personality and distinction to the living area without compromising the overall sense of serenity.
Covering just one wall allows the ceramic tiles to become a decorative accent, while the wood of the wall-mounted unit adds warmth and visually connects the different elements. The result is a balanced space where contrasting materials does not mean making them compete, but rather using their differences to create a richer, warmer and more personal composition.
An example of how to introduce decorative ceramic tiles into a contemporary living room in an elegant and considered way.
