The backyard patio of the Myles and Myles holiday apartment in Cyprus demonstrates that square metres do not determine the possibilities of an outdoor space. The renovation transforms a narrow, elongated area into an outdoor living space where vegetation, furniture and ceramic tiles come together to create an environment designed for enjoying life outdoors.

Conceived as a small open-air living area, this patio shows how an outdoor space can be transformed into a welcoming setting full of personality through a carefully considered selection of materials.

For the terrace flooring, our Xàbia Tostado anti-slip, terracotta-effect tile was chosen, a ceramic solution that recreates the warm, irregular appearance of traditional terracotta floors. Its different earthy nuances create a surface rich in tonal variation that becomes even more expressive under natural light, acting as the element that connects the entire project.

The herringbone layout introduces rhythm and dynamism while helping to emphasise the depth of the elongated space. The result is a floor with a strong graphic presence that nevertheless integrates naturally with the surrounding elements.

The warm, toasted tones of Xàbia establish a particularly harmonious dialogue with the existing stone wall, the wooden furniture and the abundant vegetation. Sand, terracotta, brown and green tones come together to create a palette directly connected to the Mediterranean landscape.
